Postcard of the Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. "Providence Hospital, located at the Northeast corner of Springhill Avenue and Catherine Street. This hospital is conducted by the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. It's operated as a non-profit organization and is fully approved by the American College of Surgeon and the American Hospital Association Accredited School of Nursing."

A used postcard of the Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. Written on back, left side, " Dear sir I will drop you a few lines to let you no I am having a nice time it is nice weather here it is different now than when I left. I am feeling as well as --. the people are so nice to me. I feel like I was at home. Hoping this finds you all ok. I will write later. Love to all, Ed." Written on back, right side, "Mrs. Effie Beasley. DeSoto Ill." Postmarked on January 18, 1951. One two cent stamp of John Adams located on the back, right corner.
