Description
A used postcard of the New Army and Navy Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark. An "X" is written on the front. Written on back, right side, "Dear Frankford:- Here we are bag & baggage in Hot Springs - in a cottage by the lake - The X - marks Ward's room in the Hospt. He is now living out here with us. His papers came to-day. he isn't nearly as nervous as he was. They have the most beautiful birds around here. Jr.'s girl friend is with us - they are horse back riding to-day. We have a boat - and they go boating and swimming. Ward said to thank you for the nice card and birthday wishes - We enjoyed the letter from Hazel's boy - Love Miriam & all." Written on back, right side, "Miss Frankford Lewis, 97 North 18th Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania." Postmarked on April 13, 1946. One cent stamp of George Washington on back, upper right corner.
