A used postcard of the D. & R. G. Hospital located in Salida, Colorado. Written on back, "This is the Rail Road Hospital. A nice large, and very pleasant one, it has such large, nice, and pretty grounds, but there I am not going to tell you about it for some days before long I expect you both to come here for a good long visit. Then you can see for yourselves, and there are many pretty place's to see when you come, also most important I think, is my pet horse 'Babe' and her pretty little black baby colt. I have named her 'Bird' as she is such a flyer. and pet. I have lots of fun with her. Come on and have fun too. yours with love Eva."
