Description
STS-7 was NASA's seventh Space Shuttle mission, and the second mission for the Space Shuttle Challenger, (18 June, 1983 - 24 June). STS-7 was notable for carrying Sally Ride, America's first female astronaut. This image reflects Norman E. Thagard using the optokinetic (OKN) drum.
