Postcard of the Passavant Memorial Hospital - Floyd E. Patterson Memorial Building in Chicago, Illinois. "The Floyd Elroy Patterson Memorial Building housing Memorial Hospital (founded 1865) and the Patterson Cancer Clinic, was established December 1, 1937, dedicated December 1, 1938 and endowed in perpetuity by Edith L. Patterson as a Memorial to her brother, December 1, 1939."

Description

A used postcard of the Passavant Memorial Hospital - Floyd E. Patterson Memorial Building located in Chicago, Illinois. Written on the back, left side, "Dear Sue, Was delighted to talk with Bernice last night. It was so nice of her to phone me. I have gotten along just fine & hope to get home for Easter. Awfully glad it's all behind me. Hope you are feeling better & able to get out in your car - Best wishes to you both - As ever, Grace G." Written on the back, right side, "Miss Sue Alexander, 67 Lover Leap Ave., Lynn, Mass." Two one cent postage stamps of George Washington on the back, upper right corner. Postmarked on April 11, 1957.
