Dear Minister,
I am taking perhaps a little indiscreet liberty to recommend to your benevolence the request of Mr. René Guillemot, President of the Civil Tribunal in Riom (Puy-de-Dôme), who is currently expressing to obtain a counselor seat at the Court of Riom. I am, however, well assured, dear Minister, that you shall excuse my actions if I add that Mr. Guillemot’s great personal merit has been known to me for many years, and that it is sufficiently testified by the enclosed enumeration of his scientific and literary titles and his scholarly publications on law, and finally by his long services.
