Abstract
Postcard of the American Red Cross in Washington D.C. "The American Red Cross, between the Corcoran Art Gallery and Continental Hall is dedicated to the memory of the heroic women of the Civil War. The beautiful assembly room is entirely in white with crimson hanging, the colors of the Red Cross. The structure of white marble cost $800,000. It houses the administrative departments of the American Red Cross.
