Description
A used postcard of Dr. Sage's Park located in Woodbury, Connecticut. Written on the front, "Dear Fredrick. I had forgotten all about you. Wasn't I smart! I have walked back and forth on this park. It is up this way in the river that we go swimming. Did you find your." Message continued on the back, left side, "Aug. 2, '08, shoes and stockings? I am going to start on my way home tomorrow morning about 8 o'clock. Am going to stay all night in New Haven. Didn't you go in bathing down to South Park? Mother said that Mildred was going but she didn't say anything about you." Continued on the front, "Did you have a nice time at Papa's picnic? From Louise." Written on the back, right side, "Master Frederick Lewis, #69 Rosedale St. Rochester, N.Y." One cent stamp of Benjamin Franklin on the back, upper right corner. Postmarked on August 3, 1908.
