Postcard of St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. "Located at 350 W. Thomas Road in Phoenix, this fine hospital was originally founded in 1895. Operated by the Sisters of Mercy, this modern, six-million dollar, 325-bed hospital was opened in 1953 to serve increasing needs of the Valley of the Sun. The educational facilities include Schools if Nursing, X-Ray Technology, and Medical Technology, as well as approved programs for Residents and Interns."
