Written on back, "This hospital is in the largest and finest one in the city, built and owned entirely by our Dr. Cochems. he is the finest surgeon and M.D. in the west any where. The hospital cost him $75000, and before building it he traveled all over the east. and Europe. To get the latest improvements and fixtures. so as to have it as near perfect as possible. and it is fine in every way. I some times think it might be a pleasure to be sick there, and he is well liked and noted all over the M.S. people come to him form every where for surgical work. Eva."
