A used postcard of the Los Angeles County General Hospital located in Los Angeles, California. Written on back, left side, "Dear Harriet: Please excuse the long delay in answering. I found the 8x10 photos and will try to mail them today or tomorrow. I don't know your favorite stars and some of them I couldn't get anyways so I am sending a miscellaneous lot. Hope there are a few you like, something to tack on the wall anyway. 'A Passage to India' was interesting, showed the difference between the English and the people of India very well. I have bought lots more books lately. Don." Written on back, right side, "Harriet Schultz, 202 W Main Lakeland, Fla." Postmarked on October 17, 1940. One cent stamp of George Washington on back, upper right corner.
