Postcard of Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. "A fine example of the many beautiful buildings to be seen in San Diego, is the Mercy Hospital, a nurses' training school. Here, in this city, which is far flung panorama of superlative grandeur, one will find many such beautiful buildings.

Used postcard of the Mercy Hospital located in San Diego, California. Written on back, left side, "2240 Madison Ave., San Diego, Calif. Dear Sister Janet, had a very comfortable train ride out here. I Surely did enjoy it. Also arrived here on time. Had a stop over in Cheyenne and Salt Lake City. which gave us all a chance to see part of the town's. It is beautiful here and I surely could live here. All I miss is S.S. & Church. I was to Grace Lutheran Church here. Sincerely Miss Reeson." Written on back, right side, "Sister Janet Coiner, South Queen St., York, Pa. Apt. #14." Postmarked on April 12, 1945. One cent stamp of George Washington on back, upper right side.
