Description

A used postcard of the Florida East Coast Railroad Hospital located in St. Augustine, Florida. "Italian Ward, White Ward, Sun Parlor, Operation Room, Private Rooms, and My Room," are labeled on the building in the image. Written on the bottom, front of the card, "This is what I call home. How do you like it. This is a very good picture. The car runs right by the door so it is very convenient for us. Well tra-la. Your friend, Lillian Palmer, 6-12-10." Written on the back, left side, "Hello there & I arrived safely yesterday noon. Had a very pleasant trip down. Hope you arrived safely. I found it raining and very warm. It has rained every day for over a week. Sure will be glad when the rainy season is over." Written on the back, right side, "Miss Nan Kelly, Remington, Va." One cent postage stamp of Benjamin Franklin on the back, upper right corner. Postmarked on June 7, 1910.
